20 Years Helping the Injured and Weak Become Healthy and Strong!
It all began in 1988 ... and two decades later Circleville Physical
Therapy is the area's leading provider of physical therapy services.
Privately owned by Ann Freeman, PT and Rick Bergman, PT, the practice
has worked with thousands of patients through the years, many from the
same family or who return to us again and again to help on the road to
recovery. The practice is currently comprised of six therapists, five
therapist assistants, and seven support staff who are focused on the
individual needs of all patients.
Just as the physical therapy profession has grown through the past
two decades, so has the practice — not only in the number of patients
seen, but with the added space to the facility, bringing
state-of-the-art and much needed space.
Physical therapy is being considered a part of the healing process
more and more for a growing number of medical and surgical conditions.
There are increasing uses for advanced equipment to treat pain and aid
in healing. In addition, the use of exercise training and fitness to
avoid injury and bring a better quality of life in convalescence have
seen an increasing emphasis through the years. From the athlete, to
the person with back or neck pain to someone having a spinal cord injury
or stroke, the profession of physical therapy now treats a multitude of
musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
During the past two decades, the advances in technology and computers
have led to more technical advances in rehabilitation. Some of these
advances have continued to grow, with computerized modalities such as
ultrasound, electric stimulation, spinal decompression treatments, and
iontophoresis with the latest advances in therapeutic laser, all of
which Circleville Physical Therapy has kept pace with and successfully
used in the treatment of its patients. Since 1988 the practice is
proud to offer patients personalized care and treatment plans designed
to minimize residual physical disability, to hasten convalescence, and
to contribute to comfort and well-being.
We thank you, the community the
Circleville and the surrounding areas of Pickaway County, for allowing
us the opportunity to assist all our patients on their roads to
recovery," stated Ann Freeman. Added Rick Bergman, "We especially value
the chance we have had to get to know all of our patients on a personal
level."
